Pink Spongeware Jug with Lid
Vintage—Pink Spongeware Jug with handle and lid, 6” tall, 4.75” diameter at mouth. Heavy, stoneware material in dark pink and white. No cracks or stains. Jug has a chip at the mouth. Lid has several edge chips. Lid has several edge cracks (see photos). Maker’s mark on the bottom. I’ve never seen one like it. Interior smells lightly of candy. Good condition.
